How does two-factor authentication (2FA) work?

HMD Enable Pro uses Google Authenticator for two-factor authentication; the application is available via the Google Play Store or App Store

Please instruct console users to download the Authenticator app on their device.

Users see the two-factor authentication prompt during the login and logged in users are directed to enable 2FA flow immediately. To complete the sign in process, users must scan the QR code generated with the Authenticator app (which must be installed before the set-up may be completed) and enter the code from the app. 

If authentication is disabled and a user is no longer a part of any 2FA-enable enterprise (e.g., removed by an enterprise Owner/Admin), a user is again able to log in using only credentials.
